Church Leaders

“Our Constitution was made only
for a moral and religious people.
It is wholly inadequate to the
government of any other.”

John Adams

Lessons especially prepared for a religious group focus on bringing to light America’s Godly heritage. Participants will discover the cause of America’s unsurpassed success and learn of the devout Christian patriots who were responsible. The church community is an ideal setting for children and adults to learn together of the Founding documents – the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. CitC can effectively teach families and inspire appreciation for the unique Christian heritage of this nation. It will take the leaders of our churches today to shepherd their flocks as did their predecessors during the Revolutionary Ward to win the fight for liberty. The Clergy inspired the Eighteen Century movement towards independence and are needed today to promote the call to action in preserving freedom and religious liberty.

“Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that their liberties are a gift from God?…the Bible is the cornerstone of liberty …I have always said and will always say …that the studious perusal of that sacred volume will make better citizens, better fathers and better husbands!”

Thomas Jefferson

“The general principles upon which the founders achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity.”

John Adams
