Education - Left Wants Last: 10/20/2015

This is there Goal!

On March 23, my colleague Mark Finkelstein noted how MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry considers the unborn child a "thing" which takes a "lot of money" to "turn into a human," costing thousands of dollars to care for each year of his/her life. Now it appears that Harris-Perry thinks that, after they're born, children fundamentally belong to the state.

Narrating a new MSNBC "Lean Forward" spot, the Tulane professor laments that we in America "haven't had a very collective notion that these are our children." "[W]e have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to their communities," Harris-Perry argued.

"Once it's everybody's responsibility and not just the households, then we start making better investments." By "investments," of course, Harris-Perry means things like spending "as much in public education as we should have."

Of course, if as Harris-Perry holds,"[t]he cost to raise a child [is] $10,000 a year up to $20,000 a year," and if children should be viewed as collectively "owned" by "society," then taken to its logical extension, a woman's choices about having a child should be informed by the economic considerations of the "community," would it not? But of course, that logic would take someone to justify, for example, the "one-child" policy in Communist China.

What's more, the notion of collective responsibility for children was a philosophy that undergirded the Cultural Revolution in Communist China under Chairman Mao. I bring that up because, as you may recall, another Harris-Perry "Lean Forward" spot contains a reference to a "great leap forward," which calls to mind the disastrous agricultural reform plan which starved millions of Chinese to death in the 1950s.

MSNBC Host Melissa Harris-Perry All Your Kids Belong To Us

Oh but Hillary did say "it takes a village" ..... which is the foundation of Marxist Collectivism!

These liberal socialists and Marxists THINK that we have "Inalienable rights", which are rights which are not capable of being surrendered or transferred ... WITHOUT THE CONSENT ... of the one possessing such rights. Even the words in the Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC call them "inalienable rights", which is a fraud on the people. Remember that it was that structure that was build during FDR's reign in 1943 ... and he was another socialist as well.

The SCOTUS case of Morrison v. State, Mo. App., 252 S.W.2d 97, 101. states you CAN surrender, sell or transfer "Inalienable rights" if you consent ... either actually or constructively. Well, we Americans HAVE NOT authorized this transfer to power to government, and our Constitution empowers us to limit that government !! We have NOT surrendered our children to government just because they are in your seats in a classroom behind closed doors.

The Constitution says we have "Unalienable rights", which mean ... to be incapable of being alienated, that is, sold or transferred .... period !!! WE have not given our children to the NEA for our children are a GIFT from the Creator. No wonder Obama had the Cross of Jesus covered at speeches at Georgetown & Norte Dame. He is a Islamic appeaser who hates our Constitutional limits. Democrats deceive us to think that they care for a government of "We the people", oh no ... their kind of government is that of a King and Emperor Obama, flowing with the rhetoric of a community organizing "lip service" of a EVIL snake oil salesman.

Liberty was God's gift to America, and our forefathers gave what they learned underneath the reign of an English king. But today in America, the young of this nation will only cringe at the loss of their Liberty & Freedom never knowing what it took to achieve it, never knowing what we know is striving to remove it.
