What Needs Change - Regulations Last: 12/04/2014

The electorate has ultimately put people in power who are either ignorant of or blatantly disregard the principles outlined in the Constitution. The Constitution provides limited authority for government officials to act. In other words, officials cannot legislate in whatever areas they please. Instead, they must operate within the parameters outlined in the Constitution. Unfortunately, this has not happened.

Article I (Legislative Authority) - The legislative branch of government is given approximately 20 powers. Congress may only act within the scope of these powers, which are found in Article I, Section 8. Further restrictions on the federal government are found in Article I, Section 9, while state restrictions are found in Article I, Section 10.

Article II (Executive Authority) - The President is given but a few specific powers, and he or she may only act within these specified powers.

Considering most Laws and Regulations are outside of this scope, most are unconstitutional.
