Constitutional Matters

The Declaration of Independence is the why. The constitution is how.

The declaration is the promise. The constitution the fulfillment. You look at the declaration as what individuals were willing to die for. The Constitution is what we are willing to live for and so we've got a look at the declaration of independence is as underpinning our constitution.

And we look at philosophy of the government. What is purpose of government?It helps to understand the philosophy of government. In the second paragraph of the declaration it tells us "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness"

If you don't have the Declaration of Independence. Then, that is a constitution that does not buy into the idea that our freedoms are inherent. It buys into the idea that the individual can only be liberated by government. So when you start talking about the purpose of government being to take care of the people you're eliminating the declaration.

So it talks about philosophy of government in our Declaration. The very next sentence talks about the purpose of government which is to secure the rights to the people. To secure these rights governments are instituted among men. And number three it talks about the source of power, deriving these just powers from the consentof the governed.

Defend those principles.

The Proper Role of our (We the People's) government:
To Protect Us from our government or
whoever else may come between us and our rights.

And who forces our government to do this?
We the People!!!

Why would we have a Constitution,
if it were a living and breathing Constitution?
What would the law be?
Answer; Anything THEY wanted it to be.

Note: THEY is not the second THEY where I define THEY. IT is the tyrannical they. You know, the people we elected that aren't following our agenda.

Who taught you "Living Breathing Constitution:? What was/is THEIR agenda?

There are some fundamental things that we have not been teaching for generations, because we have not been taught them for generations.We are subject to believe lies. The principal lie is "that our Constitution is a living breathing document, that our founders invented Liberty, that they had no idea what they were doing."

The federal government follows a new 3000 page Constitution, not the Constitution as written in 1787. This is allowed to happen and continues to happen because of our ignorance! Most people still believe/use the Living/Breathing lie.

Don't let the rules of THEIR system dictate the boundaries of our discussion, because in this era where alternatives are desperately needed. We the People have to unite to marginalize their ideas and not let them marginalize ours.
