Remember the first thing that happened after we got to Baghdad in the last war. All sorts of people were running around with artifacts from the Iraq museums. Nobody was attempting to stop the vandalism.

I think the real reason for the last Iraq war was to raid the museums. Too many people were figuring out how to read the Sumerian texts. The Sumerian texts contain the knowledge to power the world at no cost, space travel, paranormal abilities, etc.

"They" had to stop that at any cost. And "They" did.
